Assigned readings for the course have been made from a list of selected readings which appears below. Two papers will be assigned each week for the fist half of the course. These papers appear in bold text in the following list. Most are available via electronic links in the reading schedule, and all are available at the UCSC Science Library.
Each week, all students are expected to read the assigned papers before class so that they may contribute to the student-led discussion. This is 10% of your grade.
The weekly reading schedule for the course can be found on the syllabus.
One to two students have already been selected as discussion leaders for each paper.
