Tegula montereyi (Monterey turban snail)
Tegula montereyi, unlike its congeners, has an open umbilicus and a tooth. The picture on the left has T. montereyi (left) and T. brunnea (right); you should be able to see that both have a tooth, but T. brunnea lacks an umbilicus.
